Born in Lagos, Nigeria, raised in Boston Massachusetts “DJ” Prince Kalu tapped into his DJ journey when a friend attended a wedding that another DJ at the time flaked on in 2016. A wedding Day that was supposed to bring the bride and groom joy, turned into disappointment as the Dj they booked did not come through. Prince became aware of the situation by a friend who reached out and asked if he could be in attendance to save the day. Although Prince came from a background of music since he was young, he was not an experienced DJ, however he gave it a shot and dedicated himself to create a vibe for this wedding. It didn’t take Prince long enough to gain the crowds respect & love as well as enjoying what he did for the people.
We are confident that Prince is on his way to become one of the hottest DJs in the world! He’s worked with big names such as, Davido, Burna Boy, Omah Lay, Yemi Alade, Rema, Fireboy DML, Flavour, Mayorkun, Joe boy and many more! On September 2022, Dj Prince was nominated best African Dj in USA by the AFRIMMA International Music Awards. Adding to his resume, Prince was added as a guest DJ for Afro nation in Miami 2023. Big things are most definitely on the horizon for Prince, and he appreciates the support as he continues his journey to become a big time DJ.
